New Video! "Someday/We Shall Overcome" live at the Couth Buzzard!

Well, I had an absolutely wonderful time playing at the Couth Buzzard Espresso Buono Café last night! We closed the evening out with a performance of Roy Zimmerman's "Someday/We Shall Overcome", complete with a guest appearance by the Evergreen Singers and enthusiastic audience participation. Thanks so much to everyone who came out!

I attended Molly's concert at the Couth Buzzard on Sat. night. I have not enjoyed a concert so much in years. Last concert I enjoyed this much was with Harper Tasche and Beth Kolle 4 years ago, and prior to that perhaps a concert with Gray Larson and Malcolm Dalglish in the 80's. What made Molly's performance so moving was not only her carefully crafted sets, but the authenticity of the delivery. Molly's personality lifted the lyrics of old chestnuts into their true personal messages. Her arrangements were my taste as to simplicity and originality, and spoke straight to my heart. Molly is my favorite type of authentic, creative performer. She understands the music, but her delivery lifts it to extraordinary. This isn't a technical tour de force, but music at it's most honest, effective and beautiful.
